Treatment Treatment sessions will vary
depending on the nature of injury, methods include:
Sports
Massage This treatment works with the body's own healing
processes - improving circulation and the elasticity of the muscle
tissue. Manipulation of the injured tissues will prevent adhesions
forming and help scar tissue re-align, resulting in a much faster
return to activity. It can be uncomfortable and should not be
confused with Body Massage if what you're after is pure
relaxation!
Assisted Stretching Used both in
treatment and rehabilitation, assisted stretching will help maintain
and develop muscle length, increasing range of movement and strength
whilst helping to alleviate painful symptoms. After an initial
consultation, subsequent sessions will last approximately 45
minutes.
